Sounds strange to our ears, doesn't it. That’s because it’s Latin for the "sending of God." The God of the universe is a sending God, which means that whatever mission there is for our life comes from the very nature of God. God is initiating His mission for this world. He sent His Son, Jesus, and He also sends us.
